The Aquaduct

The Aquaduct. Some of you may have wondered what the photo at the top of the page represented … well, it’s one of my older, more complex projects. It has been through three of our winters and seems to be holding up pretty well. Admittedly, I used a cad program to design individual parts of the upper section and columns of the second tier. Multiple pours and a sixteen foot poured footing also made this project the winner in the “How long did that take ?” contest ! The five Colorado spruces with the aquaduct form a perfect partition for the veggie garden and the rest of the yard. And, no, it is not a working aquaduct ….
